What is free
Most of what this tool does costs nothing. Upload a document and you are told what it is made of, which fonts it carries and how many characters each of them can write. Say what you want changed and you are told whether it can be done, in every place that text appears, and if not, exactly which character is missing. Then the edit is made and the finished page is shown to you as a picture.
All of that is free, permanently, so you can see whether this document can be fixed at all before you pay. Sometimes the answer is no, and you should be able to find that out without paying.

Other ways to edit a PDF
There are free PDF editors. Most work by rebuilding the page, which gives back a document that resembles yours with different line breaks and a substituted font. Others paint a white box over the old words and draw new ones on top, which leaves both versions in the file and shows both layers as soon as someone selects the text. If either is good enough for what you are doing, they will cost you nothing and you should use them.
